Questions

What you should know.

GLP-1 receptor agonists are a class of medications that support appetite regulation and metabolic function. Compounded GLP-1 medications are customized formulations prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy based on a prescription from a licensed healthcare provider. These medications are created to meet individual patient needs, such as specific dosing or formulation preferences, as determined during a clinical evaluation. Treatment is prescribed only when a provider determines it is appropriate for the patient's unique health profile.
Our clinical services are provided by Wasef Health, PC, c/o Michael Wasef, MD. Their office is located at 5260 78th Ave N, PO Box 1697, Pinellas Park, FL 33780. You can reach them at contact@wasef-health.com. All prescriptions are written by licensed healthcare providers who review your medical history and determine clinical appropriateness before any medication is prescribed.
Prescriptions are filled by F&F Pharmacies Inc dba Jungle Jim's Pharmacy, located at 5484 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, OH 45014. They can be reached at (877) 858-3784. Jungle Jim's Pharmacy is a state-licensed compounding pharmacy that maintains licensure in 44 US states. They are currently unable to dispense to the following states: California, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, West Virginia, and Delaware.
GLP-1 therapy may be appropriate for adults with a BMI of 27 or higher who are seeking medically supervised weight management. During your assessment, our clinical providers will review your complete health profile — including medical history, current medications, and health goals — to determine if this protocol is right for you. Not every patient will qualify, and your safety always comes first.
Common side effects of GLP-1 receptor agonists may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and injection-site reactions. These tend to be mild and often improve over time as your body adjusts. Your provider will discuss potential risks and side effects specific to your health profile before prescribing. If you experience severe or concerning symptoms, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
Individual results vary. Many patients begin noticing changes within the first few weeks of treatment, though meaningful progress typically becomes apparent over 8–12 weeks. Your provider will work with you to adjust dosing as needed and ensure you're on the most effective protocol for your body.
